I'm no superhero.
Yet I wished I were...
Still at the age of playing pretend.
I tend to portray myself as one.
A figure that knows no pain.
That recovers at superhuman speed.
Able to overcome any given obstacles.
Yet something just cut me through like a butter knife.
The irony of being a superhero.
There's no public holiday for one.
There's nobody you could share your secret identity with.
And every hero is bound to some sort of weakness.
For superman, there's the kryptonite.
For spiderman, there's Maryjane.
I guess... I've found mine.
Deep down... we're all the same.
It turns out... after all this...
I'm only human.
